Dr. Prasun chatterjee appeal

“Friends, as you are aware that to save our people from the havoc being caused by the Coronavirus, our PM has appealed to lockdown the country. However, our old age homes are now in crisis for food. The NGO run old homes run on the donations made by people, and due to the lockdown donors are not able to reach the old age home. We have been providing 360 degree health care for the last two years in 27 old age homes of Delhi and NCR to 1000 elderly people. But in this crisis we understand and even the old age homes have requested that instead of medicine if they can be provided with a nutritious one time large meal which contains adequate amounts of carbohydrate and protein then it will be a great help for them. So we have decided that from 27 March we will provide one time large and nutritious meal to 1000 senior citizens in old age homes and in slums around them every day. We will teach them hand hygiene and cough etiquette as well. I request you to help us in this endeavour, as all temples, churches and mosques are closed and these elderly people are the living Gods- maybe your’s or my parents. Stay safe, stay healthy, and hygienic. Do not go out at all. Jai Hind.
